Degree (BSc or MSc) in data science, computer science, engineering, mathematics (or comparable
1 year of experience in Data Science
Team player mentality & pro-active personality
A background in reliability theory and predictive maintenance
Fluency in English is a must. Language skills in German, Portuguese and Spanish are a plus
Basic knowledge of the Renewable Energy industry
Experience in Python (with all basic libraries: at least pandas, scikitLearn)
Experience in working with very large data sets and parallel processing (e.g. Spark or Hadoop, …)
Very good theoretical & practical knowledge of common machine learning algorithms (basics:
random forests, boosting algorithms, etc.)
Good theoretical & practical knowledge in neural networks, deep learning, and convolutional
neural networks and their implementation in Python (e.g. Keras, etc.)
Good statistical knowledge, hypothesis testing, model evaluation, etc.
Cloud computing & cloud architectures – setting up jupyter servers linked to different instances
on cloud or on premise
